Gardenland Hawaii Return Policy

 

At Gardenland Hawaii, we are committed to your satisfaction and the success of your gardening and landscaping projects. Guided by our motto of "Value, Innovation, and Honest Service," we provide a comprehensive range of high-quality products, including leading-edge power equipment, UTVs, chainsaws, and premium MicroLife fertilizers. We aim to ensure a transparent and fair return process for all our valued customers.

Important Note on Hawaii Law: In accordance with Hawaii Revised Statutes § 481B-5.5, merchants are generally required to accept returns unless a clear and conspicuous policy is posted. We aim to be transparent and fair in our return process.

 

General Return Guidelines:

 

  • Proof of Purchase: All returns, exchanges, and warranty claims require a valid sales receipt. Please retain your receipts for all purchases.

  • Condition of Items: Returned items must be in their original condition, unused, and in saleable condition, including all original packaging, manuals, and accessories.

  • Final Sale Items: All sales discounted 50% or more (or as specifically marked "Final Sale") are final and cannot be returned or exchanged. This also applies to special orders, customized products, and electrical parts or carburetors (and carburetor kits) for power equipment, which are non-returnable.

 

Return Periods:

 

  • New Power Equipment (Weed Whackers, Blowers, UTVs, Chainsaws - Gas & Battery-Operated): Returns must be made within 7 days from the date of purchase.

    • Condition for Power Equipment Returns:

      • Gas-Powered Equipment: Must be unused and have never had fuel (gasoline or oil mix) added to the tank, even if subsequently drained. Once fuel has been put into the tank, the item is considered used and cannot be returned.

      • Battery-Powered Equipment: Must be unused, in its original packaging, and with all components (batteries, chargers, manuals) intact.

      • A 15% restocking fee may apply to power equipment returns, as these often require significant inspection and repackaging. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs if the item was shipped.

  • MicroLife Fertilizers and Other Granular Products: Returns must be made within 7 days from the date of purchase. Product must be in its original, unopened packaging, and in saleable condition.

  • Other Hard Goods, Parts, Tools, and Accessories: Returns must be made within 7 days from the date of purchase. Items must be in their original, unopened packaging (if applicable) and in saleable condition.

 

Warranty Policy:

 

  • Manufacturer Warranties: New power equipment, including weed whackers, blowers, UTVs, and chainsaws (both gas and battery-operated), are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty. Gardenland Hawaii will assist you in facilitating manufacturer warranty claims and repairs. Specific warranty terms and durations vary by manufacturer and model. Please consult the product manual or manufacturer's website for details.

  • MicroLife Fertilizers: While MicroLife products are designed for optimal results, their effectiveness can depend on numerous external factors beyond our control (soil conditions, application methods, weather, existing plant health). Therefore, we do not offer a specific warranty on the performance of MicroLife fertilizers beyond the initial return period for unopened products. We are happy to provide guidance on proper application to maximize results.

 

How to Initiate a Return:

 

  1. For In-Store Purchases: Bring the item(s) and your original receipt to Gardenland Hawaii during business hours. For power equipment, please ensure all fuel is drained (if applicable) before bringing it in.

  2. For Online Orders (if applicable for shipment): Please contact our Customer Service team at [Your Phone Number] or [Your Email Address] to request a Return Authorization (RA#) and receive instructions for returning your item. Please note that the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a product defect.
