  • Local Pickup (Wailuku, Maui): For our Maui customers, we offer convenient in-store pickup at our Wailuku location during business hours. This is often the fastest and most cost-effective option.

    • Option A (Limited Mainland Shipping): We generally do not ship power equipment, UTVs, or oversized items to the continental U.S. due to logistical complexities and costs.     • Option B (Mainland Shipping Available): Shipping to the continental U.S. (Lower 48 States) is available for select items. Due to the significant distance and specific regulations for certain products, shipping costs and transit times will be higher. 2. Processing and Shipping Times

 

  • Order Processing: Orders for in-stock items are typically processed within 1-2 business days (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays). Orders received before [e.g., 12:00 PM HST] may be processed the same day.

  • Inter-Island Transit Times:

    • Once processed, shipping times to other Hawaiian islands can range from 3-7 business days for smaller parcels and 5-14 business days for larger freight items (like UTVs or large power equipment), depending on the destination island and chosen carrier.

    • Please note that inter-island shipping relies heavily on barge schedules and can occasionally experience delays due to weather, port conditions, or carrier schedules.

4. Shipping Carriers

 

We partner with reputable carriers to ensure your order arrives safely and efficiently. Our primary carriers for shipments include:

  • Smaller Items (e.g., MicroLife Fertilizers, small tools): USPS, UPS, FedEx

  • Larger Equipment & Freight (e.g., UTVs, Chainsaws, Blowers): Young Brothers, Pasha Hawaii, or other specialized freight forwarders for inter-island transport. For mainland, suitable freight carriers will be used.

 

5. Special Considerations for Power Equipment & Hazardous Materials

 

  • Fuel & Fluids: For safety and compliance with shipping regulations, all power equipment (gas or diesel) must be completely drained of all fuel and fluids (e.g., oil) before shipment. Equipment will not be shipped if fuel/fluids are present.

  • Used Equipment: We generally do not ship used power equipment or used UTVs. If a special arrangement is made, the buyer is responsible for ensuring the item meets all hazardous material shipping regulations (e.g., completely drained, properly packaged and labeled) and all associated costs.

  • Hazardous Materials: Some items (e.g., certain chemicals, large batteries) may be classified as hazardous materials by shipping carriers and may incur additional charges, require specific packaging, and have restricted shipping methods or destinations. 7. Damaged Shipments & Missing Items
